For summer 2010, the section of Saluzzo and School of Mountaineering and Ski Mountaineering "CAI Monviso" proposed the ascent to the summit of Piz Palu East (3882 m)
three peaks: the main peak or central (3901 m), the eastern top (half of the trip) and the top or West Piz Spinas (3823 m).
is considered one of the most beautiful peaks of the Central Alps with its three prominent ridges and four hanging glaciers.
Saturday, July 17: Departure from Saluzzo
bus GT destination with the Bernina Pass.
cable car ride to the shelter " Chamanna Diavolezza " (2975 m).
Dinner and overnight at the shelter.
Sunday, July 18 :
Ascent Piz Palu Eastern Europe: from the hut and follow the path down to 200 meters uphill to reach the Glacier Pers
shoes crampons and arranged the strings, we proceed along the valley north-east of Piz Palu interrupted by spectacular crevasses and huge crevasses. Climb up the eastern shoulder of Palu '(3700 m), then to a steeper slope and a part of the ridge to the summit.
Return along the same route to the refuge and descent by cable car.
Return to Saluzzo in the evening.
From the refuge and along the way you can enjoy a good view near the summit of Piz Bernina (4049 m) il 4000 più orientale delle Alpi, e sulla sua famosa cresta Nord (Biancograt).
L’itinerario si svolge su terreno glaciale, è quindi necessario un abbigliamento da alta montagna, scarponi adeguati, ramponi, piccozza e imbrago, l’attrezzatura collettiva verrà fornita dalla scuola.
Costo indicativo € 130.00 , che potrà subire variazioni anche in base al numero di partecipanti.
Le iscrizioni inizieranno il 7 maggio e si chiuderanno il 15 giugno o al raggiungimento dei 30 posti disponibili, si richiede una caparra di € 50,00 a conferma della prenotazione.
