COURSE skitouring "SA1"

School of Mountaineering and Ski-Mountaineering "CAI Monviso" section of Saluzzo offers for winter 2011, the basic course in backcountry skiing SA1 , now in its 43rd edition, as in the previous edition will take place in parallel with the ongoing snowboard mountaineering SBA1.

We will approach this exciting discipline with six lectures in which we will talk about equipment, guidance, ARTVA (Apparatus for Search Swept avalanche), snow and avalanche, mountain first aid, preparation and conduct of a trip. These will be joined by six outputs practices, including a day dedicated to exercise and proper use dell'ARTVA and final output two days with overnight stay in refuge. Actively follow up meetings that keep it in place is important because, to take more trips when teaching in the mountains, you must have already learned some basics. COURSE-ALPINE SNOWBOARD "SBA1"

In 2011 season, is scheduled for 2 nd basic course-Mountain Snowboard SBA1 , as in the previous edition which will take place in parallel with the course SA1, maintaining independence on specific topics in the progression of snowboarding and climbing. The course aims to provide students with the basic knowledge necessary to independently manage and secure a route in winter on snowy terrain, using snowshoes or scietti to climb and snowboard down the hill.

I minimum requirements for entry are a good basic training and a good off-piste descent technique, which will be checked during the first uscita ( valutativa e svolta su terreno medio-facile).

Sono previste sei lezioni teoriche in sede, comuni al corso di sci-alpinismo, nelle quali si parlerà di attrezzatura, ARTVA (Apparecchio per la Ricerca di Travolti in VAlanga), topografia e orientamento, neve e valanghe, autosoccorso, preparazione e condotta di una gita, e una esercitazione pratica di autosoccorso in valanga e utilizzo corretto dell'ARTVA.

La Scuola di Alpinismo e Sci-Alpinismo “CAI Monviso”  della sezione di Saluzzo organizza, per l’autunno 2011, un corso base di arrampicata AL1 . Il corso è rivolto a tutti, soprattutto a coloro che non hanno mai provato ad arrampicare neppure una volta!

La struttura del corso comprende lezioni teoriche in sede, in palestra indoor e uscite in falesia. Le cinque lezioni teoriche riguarderanno i materiali, la sicurezza e le caratteristiche della scalata, nonché la tecnica individuale e l'allenamento, permettendo all'allievo di conoscere l'arrampicata as sport and technical discipline, fun and safe. Per l’estate 2011 la Scuola di Alpinismo e Scialpinismo con la collaborazione della Scuola di Escursionismo organizza una gita alpinista alla Testa del Rutor in Valgrisenche (Valle d’Aosta).
